โœจSticky Sweet Chilli & Honey Shredded Chickenโœจ

My favourite meal to make but this time I was sous chef as my boyfriend made this (I was legit telling him every move) but he did good ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‚

Ingredients: (serves 2)
– 200g @icelandfoods salt and pepper shredded chicken
– 2 x 150g @veetee_official sticky rice
– 3 mixed peppers, sliced
– 1 Red onion, sliced
– 3 tbsp light soy sauce
– 2 tbsp honey
– 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
– 1 tbsp @heinz_uk sweet chilli sauce
– 200ml chicken stock
– cornstarch slurry (1/2tbsp cornflour, 2tbsp water)
– 2 tsp garlic purรฉe

Method:

1. Cook your chicken as per instructions
2. Fry off your veg & garlic purรฉe
3. Once the veg is a little soft, add in your soy sauce, white wine vinegar, sweet chill & honey
4. Mix it all In and add in your stock
5. Simmer for nearly the rest of the time on the chicken
6. Once there is about 1 minute left on the chicken, add in your slurry and mix it up and it should be thickening
7. Add In your chicken and coat all over

I served with mine with sticky rice but you can choose whatever you like ๐Ÿš
