✨STICKY SALT & CHILLI CHICKEN✨

This is my all time favourite meal to make and it’s so so easy 😍🙌🏻

Ingredients: (serves 2)
– 230g @icelandfoods salt & chilli shredded chicken
– 2 bell peppers, sliced
– 1 Red onion, sliced
– 200ml chicken stock
– 1 tbsp garlic purée
– 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
– 2 tbsp light soy sauce
– 2 tbsp honey
– 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
– 2 potatoes, peeled & cut into chips
– @schwartz.uk Chinese five spice
– 1 tsp cornflour (for chips)
– cornstarch slurry (1tbsp cornflour/2tbsp water mixed)

Method: (chicken) 🐔
1. Cook your chicken as per instructions
2. Spray a pan with frylight and add your onion and peppers and let them fry off until softish then add your garlic & fry for about 3-5 mins
3. Add in your soy sauce, vinegars & stock and let it bubble away until reduced
4. Add in your honey & let it simmer until chicken is done
5. Add in your cornstarch slurry, mix it up until super sticky then add your chicken & coat evenly
6. Serve up with your choice of side 🤤

Method: (chips) 🍟
1. Preheat oven to 220 Celsius and Parboil your potato
2. Remove from pan & drain water – pat dry the potatoes
3. Add to a bowl & add frylight & five spice and give it a mix
4. Add your cornstarch & evenly coat
5. Bake in an oven for about 35 – 40 minutes.

Protein: 23.9g
